We are a NAMB approved Trade testing Centre for Plumbing and will perform the trade test for our candidates enrolled for this course for Plumbing, electrical candidates we assist to be trade tested externally.
This course is accepted in South Africa and internationally once a conversion examination is done for the country that you want to go to, this is not done by PCD College.

Course Details

National Course Further Education and Training Certificate: Electrical Engineering is a 3 year* practical and theoretical course. 

You will perform a series of Electrical works under the supervision of our highly trained and competent Assessors. 

This course enables you to perform all tasks an Electrician needs to perform nationally and internationally 

This course is a full Qualification course – when finished successfully you are a qualified electrician. 

You must have Grade 12 Maths and Science OR you will have to do Level 2 and then L3 to finish this Qualification (we will explain this in detail) 

Fees

@ R 59 000.00 per year (inclusive of all examination fees and textbooks – (if an exam is failed the re writing cost is for the account of the student)

Accommodation is available @ R5500 per month inclusive of 3 meals and Laundry once a week if a rental contract for a year is signed.

LEARNING ASSUMED TO BE IN PLACE AND RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL): RPL for access to the external integrated summative assessment: Accredited providers and approved workplaces must apply the internal assessment criteria specified in the related curriculum document to establish and confirm prior learning. Accredited providers and workplaces must confirm prior learning by issuing a statement of result or certifying a work experience record. RPL for access to the qualification: accredited providers and approved workplaces may recognise prior learning against the relevant access requirements. Entry Requirements: NQF Level 3 qualification equivalent to N2 knowledge areas of Engineering Maths, Science and Building Drawings.
